These beautiful earrings are handcrafted from compact discs and look like pieces of Murano Glass. Every CD 'gem' is two layers of CD - the label is stripped from the clear part of the CD, coloured and fired. Some of the silver label is left behind giving a unique silver pattern through each piece. When cool the processed CDs are made into very wearable pieces that are lightweight and very versatile.
These medium sized statement earrings are made from three pieces of upcycled CDs joined with jump rings which gives them a lovely movement. The three pieces are 1,3 and 1cm square respectively with the stainless steel post attached to the top 1cm piece.
The Stainless Steel is posts are hypoallergenic and 80% recycled with the packaging all from. recycled and reusable materials so you can make a sustainable purchase with confidence.
You will find many bright, gem like colours in this collection as well as clear and black. There is also a very popular ‘seaglass’ colour.
