These beautiful earrings are handcrafted from compact discs and look like pieces of Murano Glass. Every CD 'gem' is two layers of CD - the label is stripped from the clear part of the CD, coloured and fired. Some of the silver label is left behind giving a unique silver pattern through each piece. The processed CDs are made into very wearable pieces that are lightweight and very versatile.
These very long statement earrings are 5 tiers; 1,2,3,2 and 1cm respectivley. Each CD 'gem' is joined by a jump ring giving it movement and the top 1cm CD gem has the stainless steel post that goes through the ear.
The Stainless Steel is posts are hypoallergenic and 80% recycled and the packaging is all recycled and reusable materials so you can make a sustainable purchase with confidence.
You will find many bright, gem like colours in this collection as well as clear and black. There is also a very popular ‘seaglass’ colour.
The colours listed are the colours I currently have in stock but I am able to make any colour I have in the rest of my CD range - please allow a week lead time.
