These beautiful earrings are handcrafted from compact discs and look like pieces of Murano Glass. Every CD 'gem' is two layers of CD - the label is stripped from the clear part of the CD, coloured and fired. Some of the silver label is left behind giving a unique silver pattern through each piece. The processed CDs are made into very wearable pieces that are lightweight and very versatile.
The sterling silver is 100% recycled silver and the packaging is all recycled and reusable materials so you can make a sustainable purchase with confidence.
These are a small earring with the CD gem measuring 1cm square; an everyday earring of eco elegance.
You will find many bright, gem like colours in this collection as well as clear and black. There is also a very popular ‘seaglass’ colour. The silver hooked diamond shapes are available in two sizes; 1cm square and 2cm square (listed separately).
