These beautiful earrings are handcrafted from compact discs and look like pieces of Murano Glass. Every CD 'gem' is two layers of CD - the label is stripped from the clear part of the CD, coloured and fired. Some of the silver CD label is left behind giving a unique silver pattern through each piece. The processed CDs are made into very wearable pieces that are lightweight and very versatile.
The Stainless Steel posts are hypoallergenic and 80% recycled. The packaging is all recycled and reusable materials so you can make a sustainable purchase with confidence.
You will find many bright, gem like colours in this collection as well as clear and black. There is also a very popular ‘seaglass’ colour. The three diamond shapes are tiered and 1,2 and 3cm square respectively, with the stud post attached to the 1cm square piece. These beautiful statement earrings are approximately 8cm long but very lightweight to wear.
