Every CD 'gem' is two layers of compact discs; the label is stripped from the clear part of the CD, coloured and fired. Some of the silver label is left behind creating a unique silver pattern through each piece. The processed CDs are made into very wearable pieces that are very lightweight and versatile.
The CD gem is set on a simple, fine 18 inch silver chain, elegant and eco friendly. The sterling silver is 100% recycled silver and the packaging is all recycled and reusable materials so you can make a sustainable purchase with confidence.
You will find many bright, gem like colours in this collection as well as clear and black. There is also a very popular ‘seaglass’ colour. The diamond shaped gem measures approximately 1cm.
